We would love to have you visit Corona Presbyterian Church! We know that visiting a church for the first time can sometimes be uncomfortable—we’ve all been there. We hope that these questions and answers give you the help you need to navigate your visit. Just know that we’ll be glad to welcome you no matter who you are or what your experience (or lack of experience) with church might be. You can also email us or call the church at (951) 200 3941 and we would be happy to answer your questions.
When We Worship
We worship every Sunday morning from 9:30 am-10:45 am. Every second and fourth Sunday of the month, we meet for an evening worship service at 5:00 pm. You are welcome to visit CPC anytime, but the best way to get to know us is by visiting for a worship service.
Where We Worship
As a church plant, we don’t yet have our own building. That’s why we’re grateful for our friends at Beth Shalom Messianic Jewish Congregation who let us hold our worship services in their beautiful facility. You can find us at 2790 California Avenue in Corona. We are a short drive from the 15 freeway, very close to Santiago High School, and easily accessible for residents of Corona, Riverside, Eastvale, and surrounding areas.
How We Worship
In our worship service, we worship God through singing, prayer, reading the Bible, and hearing expositional (meaning that the goal is to explain what the text of Scripture means), Christ-centered sermons. Because our worship is for God, our service is marked by reverence and awe, order and beauty, faith and joy. Everything we do is based completely on the Bible and God’s promise of grace in Christ. We sing hymns from the Trinity Psalter Hymnal as well as newer songs that exalt our Triune God. We hope you’ll visit to experience our worship first-hand!
What to Wear for Worship
Wear whatever is most comfortable! Our pastor usually wears a tie and jacket, but people at CPC wear everything from ties, to jeans, to shorts, and golf shirts. The important thing is to come ready for joyful and reverent worship of our God on the basis of the finished work of Jesus Christ.
Kids in Worship?
Yes! We love having our children with us in worship and encourage you to bring yours. We believe that our worship is for all of God’s people—including the smallest!—and we love the life and joy (and sometimes noise) that our children add to our worship. When needed, we also have a cry room where you can bring your children, sit comfortably, and listen to the service.
After We Worship
After morning worship, we invite you to stay for coffee, snacks, and fellowship.
